KIBA, the first international beer competition in Korea, aims to promote the development of the Korea beer industry and increase the competitiveness of the industry through fair competition with international beer.
Furthermore, as a beer cultural exchange ambassador, KIBA aims to provide an opportunity to promote the excellence of Korean beer and the potential of the Korean beer market abroad, and to introduce excellent foreign beers to Korea.
Our judging team awards gold, silver, and bronze to beers that have received outstanding evaluations for criteria such as balance, drinkability, and overall impression, as well as the 110 beer style requirements of the Beer Style Guidelines. KIBA’s awards of excellence will increase a brewery’s brand recognition and commercial appeal to consumers.
At least more than 500 beers from many countries are expected for the Korea International Beer Awards 2025, and about 50 renowned international judges will evaluate your beer. The judging session of KIBA 2025 will be held in Seoul in the spring of 2025. The winners will be announced on the award ceremony, 2nd day of KIBEX(DRINK SEOUL), which will be held together with KIBA.
