Korea International Beer Awards

Hello,
I am Junghoon John Yoon, Chairman of the KIBA Organizing Committee.

KIBA (Korea International Beer Award), Korea's first international beer competition, was launched to support the growth of the Korean beer industry and strengthen its international competitiveness.

We hope KIBA will be more than a competition that selects great beers — a place where brewers from Korea and around the world share their beers and cultures with one another. Introducing the quality and potential of Korean beer to the world, and bringing outstanding international beers to Korea, are also important roles that KIBA intends to continue.

Entries are evaluated comprehensively on balance, drinkability and overall impression, based on beer style guidelines. We do our utmost in running the judging so that every entry is assessed fairly and professionally.

For KIBA 2027, we expect more than 600 beers to be entered from around the world, with about 50 expert judges from Korea and abroad taking part. The awards ceremony will be held on the main stage during KIBEX (DRINK SEOUL).

We sincerely thank you for the interest and participation you bring to KIBA every year.

In 2027, we look forward to many beers and brewers meeting through KIBA and broadening each other's possibilities.
